Damper Weight made of 200g PLEXIGLAS® / Acrylic transparent

It fits on every record player and also on large drives. This PLEXIGLAS® puck was developed and tested for analog lovers in 2008/2009 and brought onto the market as a novelty. It is ideal for older and newer records. Highly recommended for 180g Audiophiel LPs. The 200g record damper can be easily combined with different PLEXIGLAS® turntable mats and exchange platters. Our DELTA DEVICE record weights are also suitable for single LPs. The single LPs only require the record star adapter (available here in the shop), which is clamped into the center hole of the single record. You can then use the DELTA DEVICE puck just as you would for long-playing records.

Sound

With the 200g record puck you can achieve very good results.
The excellent properties of PLEXIGLAS® have long been known.
Very high quality material was used and processed with special tools.

• Vibrations arising in the record are slightly dampened.
• The result is a more detailed, airier, more precise sound.
• Very suitable for turntables with a simple bearing design.
• Subchassis suitable. Even for large mass drives, which usually benefit from it.
• Liveliness, dynamics, precision and clean contours.
• More advantageous than very heavy metal weights.
• More advantageous than screw-on weights, the pressure always remains the same.
• Resonances arising in the material are destroyed by the sharp-edged grooves.
• The result is a clean sound.

Notice

• Heavy metal weights put unnecessary strain on the bearing
• the music reproduction seems tired, it simply lacks freshness.
• Some drives will have a shortened lifespan.

Cleaning

• If there is heavy dust, clean under running lukewarm water.
• Dry with a soft cotton cloth.
• Never use cleaning agents that contain alcohol!
• Our recommendation is the Simply Analog Record Cleaner (available here in the shop)
